Anna Dimitratou
Oriental & Bollywood Teacher
Anna is an Actress, Oriental and Bollywood dances instructor, pilates trainer, founder and artistic director of “Artistic Studio Oriental Expression”, “1st Bollywood Academy in Greece” and “Oriental Expression Awards”, an institution for International Bellydance Competitions. She is also the organizer and artistic director of “Bollywood and Multicultural Dance Festival” which is taking place every year with huge success. “Bellydance Athens Greece” is also one of her kids!
Anna was born in Athens, Greece. She got involved in theater since she was 14 and finished her Bachelor’s in “Iasmos Drama School” (2000 – 2003). She has performed in several performances in the theater and has participated in short films and Tv-series.
At the same time she was involved with dance. For many years she has been taught contemporary, classical and modern dance as well as Oriental dances (Oriental, Bollywood, Bharatanatyam, Kathak).
She also has a degree in pilates and is a pilates trainer. She has choreographed and presented Bollywood and Oriental, for performances, theater and TV shows. She has been taught Oriental in Egypt and mainly at the great Nile Group Festival. She studied traditional and modern Arabic dances, such as Saidi, Khalijee, Raqs Sharki, Balladi, Nubian, Ghawazee, Shaaby but also modern Oriental dance styles (including Tribal Fusion), with teachers such as Mahmoud Reda, Farida Fahmy, Osama Emam, Lubna Emam, Tito Seif, Ahmed Fekry, Randa Camel, Mohamed Shahin, Camelia of Cairo, Sadie Marquardt and Pricne Kayammer.
In 2007 she became a member of the International Dance Council (CID -UNESCO) and founded the "Artistic Studio Oriental Expression" in Athens, where she began teaching Oriental dance and performing in Greece and abroad.
Through her collaboration with the International Dance Council she is pleased to grant International Dance Diplomas every year.
She competed in various competitions in Greece and Egypt, and her team won the first prize at the "The Nile Group Oriental Dance Competition" held in Cairo in 2009.
In 2013, Anna established the “1st Bollywood Dance Academy Greece”. Since then she has invited many Indian teachers and choreographers to train the students of the Academy. Ιn April 2013 she organised the 1st Bollywood Flash mob in Greece, at Kerameikos Square, on the occasion of the celebration of the World Dance Day.
She formed a professional Bollywood team and has been presenting Bollywood dance since 2013 in various festivals and on famous Greek TV shows and has featured in “People” and “Lifo” magazines.
Anna has traveled several times to India where she has taught Bellydance and Bollywood Dance in Universities, Colleges, Dance Schools and Groups. She has also been traveling every year all over Europe to teach and perform.
She has also created the "Magnunas” and “Bellydance Queens" oriental groups that have won medals and awards at International Oriental Competitions. In addition, she has created and manages on social media the accounts "Bellydance Athens Greece" and "Bollywood Greece" which are constantly updated with all her dancing activities.
In 2016 she created another Institution, the Oriental Expression Awards, which organizes the International Oriental Competition “Spring International Bellydance Competition” which takes place every spring, as well as the “International Bollywood Dance Competition”, held annually in the context of “Bollywood and Multicultural Dance Festival”.
Famous Bellydance and Bollywood teachers and judges are invited to these great events from all over the globe. President of these Competitions is Anna Dimitratou.
Anna continues her journey to Oriental Dances, by traveling and teaching in many cities in Greece, Europe and India.

Sumon Rudra
Indian teacher choreographer and performer
Sumon Rudra is an Indian choreographer, teacher and performer currently based in Athens, Greece. He holds two diplomas in Contemporary dance and is the first Indian dancer to receive a Diploma in Contemporary Dance from the Ministry of Culture, Greece in 2017. He has formally trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Bharatanatyam and Kalaripayattu over the years of his dance education.
An ardent Bollywood lover, he became an integral part of the 1st Bollywood Dance academy in Greece, where he works as a teacher, choreographer and performer. He was an assistant choreographer and performer in the 1st Bollywood Musical in Greece and has been invited to teach and perform Bollywood dance in many events and festivals in Greece and abroad like France, Bulgaria and Finland among others.
He has performed in various prestigious shows in Athens including major Greek TV Channels like Mega, Epsilon and Star.
He is the first Indian choreographer in the biggest dance reality show “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 3 in ANT1 channel where he introduced Bollywood into this format of the show and choreographed the Semifinals and Grand Finale of the show. He along with the professional team from the 1st Bollywood Dance Academy were the first Bollywood dance group to make it to the semifinals of “Greece Got Talent” in 2017.
Sumon is teaching and Choreographing Bollywood dance and contemporary dance classes in various dance schools in Athens. He is also extensively traveling, teaching workshops and performing in various International Dance Festivals in all over Europe. He has taught over 70 dance workshops in 25 cities worldwide.

Elisavet Dakoutrou
Tribal Fusion Bellydance
Elisavet was born and raised in Athens where she began classical ballet lessons at an early age. She begins her studies in classical and modern dance and in 2006 she graduates from the Higher Professional School of Dance N. Kontaxakis. In the continuation of its course he also discovers Fusion bellydance by attending countless seminars by Greek and foreign teachers.
She has been teaching classical and modern dance since 2006 and fusion bellydance since 2015 until today while also dancing and choreographing participating in numerous festivals and performances. She also continues her dance development by attending intensive seminars abroad such as the Trinity Laban Dance summer school in London.
Her goal when teaching is to promote students' confidence and creativity while building strong technique and
artistry.

Maria Magdalene
Oriental
Maria-Magdalini Pritsa was born and raised in Athens, Greece. At the age of 4 she started rhythm and continued with courses of ballet, modern, hip hop and Greek traditional dances. Her first contact with Oriental and the Eastern Dances in general was in 2010.
She had followed lessons and seminars of modern jazz, pilates, yoga, bollywood, oriental and tribal fusion with distinguished dancers and choreographers from Greece and abroad (Anna Dimitratou, Julia Farid, Sonia Ochoa, Osama Emam, Lia Verra, Saidi Marquardt, Erifili Nikolakopoulou). She has completed her studies in oriental dance at the Artistic Studio Oriental Expression next to Anna Dimitratou and has obtained a Diploma certified by the International Dance Council (CID).
She had followed lessons and seminars of modern jazz, pilates, yoga, bollywood, oriental and tribal fusion with distinguished dancers and choreographers from Greece and abroad (Anna Dimitratou, Julia Farid, Sonia Ochoa, Osama Emam, Lia Verra, Saidi Marquardt, Erifili Nikolakopoulou). Maria Iosif
Fat Chance Belly Dance® Style / FCBD®S
Maria-Ioanna Iosifidi was born in 1984 in Athens, where she lives. He studied at the Democritus University of Thrace and is a graduate of Turkish Philology, from the Department of Linguistics, Language and Culture of Peripheral Countries.
She is a certified teacher of Polynesian dances, from MIKEA ACADEMY OF POLYNESIAN DANCES in Barcelona, Spain, TRIBAL FUSION BELLY DANCE and FAT CHANCE BELLY DANCE®STYLE (FCBD®STYLE-ATS ,AMERICAN TRIBAL STYLE) by Carolena Nericcio, founder of FAT CHANCE BELLY DANCE, Ink based in San Francisco and Megha Gavin, and is a SISTER STUDIO FCBD® in Athens and a member of FCBD®'s FatChance® Continuing Education (FCCE) tribal pura programs and holds an amateur degree in Oriental dance from the IDTA.
He has created the dance groups EURYNOME TRIBE, which specializes in the FCBD®STYLE style, KA HIKINA Polynesian dances, which is also the first Greek group of Polynesian dances, Aloustines Oriental Group and was a member of the tribal duo ALBEDON.

Danae Bofiliou
Tribal Fusion Bellydance
Danae Bofiliou was born and raised in Athens. Although she finished Law School in this city, her love for movement & dance led her to start Bellydance classes from a young age. From her first steps, she received the right fundamentals for a clean and strong technique on Belly Dance and later Fusion Belly Dance, which won her over right away.
Danae has been teaching for 11 years now and has been dedicated to a further exploration of Fusion Belly Dance style; thus she has attended numerous workshops in Greece and in foreign countries over the years. She has also taken part for 2 years in a row in ODI dance intensives in Lisbon, Portugal, and has been invited to teach & perform at Tribal Soul Napoli in Italy.
Her love for dance led her to explore other styles too. She has been exploring popping, afro, contemporary, salsa, and especially waving for the recent years. This way, she enriches her style and continues to express herself through Fusion by having new and diverse stimuli to work on and teach. Her desire to express freely through movement is primary and believes that expression through dance can be an utterly therapeutic and magical experience. Finally, since the beginning of this year, Danae has been an enthusiastic student of dance therapy.

Rafaella Konstantopoulou
Bollywood
Rafaella was born and raised in Athens. Her first contact with dance came at the age of four, starting ballet. Afterwards, she became involved in athletics championships, winning Panhellenic and International honors in the field, in which she also took on the role of coach. Afterwards, she engaged in various types of dance such as contemporary, commercial, high heels, Bharatanatyam and oriental. Her engagement with Bollywood began in 2017 at the 1st Bollywood Dance Academy Greece where she attended numerous classes with Anna Dimitratou, Sumon Rudra and Kleoniki Karachaliou as well as workshops with renowned dancers and choreographers (Anna Dimitratou, Sumon Rudra, Naz Choudhury, Carolina Rubio, Kleoniki Karahaliou, Kinga Malec, Lavesh Pritmani, Pavan Prasad et al.) She completed her studies at the 1st Bollywood Dance Academy Greece, where she obtained her diploma in 2022. She has participated in TV shows (Greece Got Talent) and TV shows (Weekend with Manesis, Proiniatika, Ela Hamogela etc.) as well as in various Video Clips of well-known Indian singers. Notable is her presence dancing for the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Maria-Eirini Chatzipanagioti
Oriental
Maria-Eirini Chatzipanagioti was born and raised in Athens. At the age of ten, she started her dance studies. She has engaged with various dance types such as Greek traditional dances, latin, hip hop as well as with pilates and yoga gymnastics. During the last five years she has been professionally engaged in oriental dance together with her university studies in oenology and tribal fusion belly dance.
She has completed her studies in oriental dance at the Artistic Studio Oriental Expression next to Anna Dimitratou and has obtained a Diploma certified by the International Dance Council (CID) in 2021.
She has been attending seminars by internationally accredited teachers and choreographers while she’s continuing her studies. She has been awarded in international oriental contests. She dances in various events and festivals and she is an active member of the professional team of Artistic Studio Oriental Expression.

Elena Kiparidi
Bollywood
Elena was born and raised in Athens. Her first encounter with dance came at the age of four, when she began ballet and modern dance. Over the years, she expanded her training into various styles such as Bollywood, musical, hip hop, commercial, and high heels, attending classes and workshops with distinguished teachers in Greece and abroad. She holds advanced level dance diplomas in Ballet (RAD) and Modern Theatre (ISTD). In 2024, she graduated from the Higher Professional Dance School of Maro Marmarinou, obtaining her diploma in Dance Teaching. She has teaching experience in dance schools and studios, working with toddlers, children, and adult classes.
Her first introduction to Bollywood dance was in 2014, through a seminar with Anna Dimitratou. In 2021, she became a member of the professional team of the 1st Bollywood Dance Academy Greece, making her first appearance on the television show “Greece’s Got Talent.” Since then, she has been an active member of the Academy, participating in numerous performances, with the most notable being the artistic welcome of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
Since 2021, she has been consistently attending Bollywood seminars and classes with internationally acclaimed teachers, including Kumar Sharma, Lavesh Pritmani, Kinga Malec, Sumon Rudra, and Anna Dimitratou. In 2023, she completed her studies at the 1st Bollywood Dance Academy Greece, earning her Bollywood Teaching Diploma.

Dimitris Terezakis
PERCUSSIONIST
Dimitris Terezakis is a distinguished percussionist and performer, active both nationwide in Greece and internationally. Over the past ten years, the culture of the Middle East and the Oriental dance community have completely won him over, leading him to dedicate himself exclusively and professionally to this field.
With seven years of percussion studies and participation in major events, he has left his mark on prestigious stages such as "To Dance or Not to Dance" (2017) at the Rythmos Stage music venue in Athens, the international Bellysimo Oscar festival in Italy, where he has performed for five consecutive years as a member of the Tabbal Group, as well as the Enigma of Arabia Festival in Kyiv. In 2018, he appeared on the popular television show "Greece’s Got Talent," impressing both the audience and the judges.
His original musical creations and videos on YouTube and Spotify have accumulated thousands of views and streams, confirming his steady and inspiring presence in the Oriental percussion scene.
He is a permanent colleague of the Oriental Expression Awards, the largest and most significant Oriental dance festival in Greece, under the artistic direction of Anna Dimitratou, where he leads the “Live Tabla” category. At the same time, he co-organizes workshops on Arabic rhythms with her at the Artistic Studio Oriental Expression in Athens.
Furthermore, he has been consistently collaborating over the past years with the Attica Open and Athens Dance Festival competitions, overseeing the artistic direction of the “Live Tabla” category and impressing both audiences and participants every time.
True to his commitment to spreading the magic of Arabic tradition, Dimitris Terezakis is open to new collaborations, offering workshops, masterclasses, and artistic performances both in Greece and abroad.
