The third and final MASTERCLASS of the season is ready! On Sunday 12^th May, 2024, our Artistic Director Anna Dimitratou, with collaboration with the wonderful percussionist Dimitris Terezakis will teach a 3 hour master class full of: theory, steps, technique, and lots of dance. Don't miss your chance to participate!

The workshop is aimed to everyone that participated in the first workshop, but also at everyone that wants to attend for the first time. Also all our members who participate in the "Be A Dance Professor" program!

Bellydance  Masterclass Content:

Anna and Dimitris will teach you with arabic tabla accompaniment:

• Recap of the rhythms we learned in the previous workshops
• Completion of the Maksum Rhythm family (Theory and Practice)
• How to recognize and count basic rhythms.
• We will learn to work on specific dance combinations, and also improvisation.
• Communication of the dancer with the musician

Notes:

1. All new participants will be given notes. Those of you who have attended the previous parts, don't forget to bring your notes with you.
2. A Masterclass certificate will be given
3. We remind our members who attend Oriental courses with the aim of obtaining a Dance Teacher Diploma from the International Dance Council (CID) that participation is mandatory and that the workshop hours count double!
4. The printed materials of the previous Masterclasses are available for purchase to those who wish to have a more comprehensive knowledge.
