Embracing the Path of Arabic Rhythms and Dance
with Anna Dimitratou and Dimitris Terezakis

Saturday 8^th & Sunday 9^th November 2025 (17:30 - 20:30)

The first MASTERCLASS of this season is here! On Saturday, 8 November, and Sunday, 9 November 2025, our artistic director Anna Dimitratou and the exceptional tabla player Dimitris Terezakis will be teaching an intensive 6-hour workshop filled with theory, technique, and, of course, LOTS OF DANCE! Don’t miss the chance to participate!

The workshop is open to both those who have attended the previous two sessions and new participants. It is especially geared towards our members who are part of the "Be A Dance Professor" program!

Bellydance  Masterclass Content:

Anna and Dimitris, accompanied by Arabic tabla, will be teaching:

• A recap of the rhythms we learned in previous workshops.
• An introduction to new rhythms (Theory and Practice).
• Techniques for recognizing and counting basic rhythms.
• Work on specific dance combinations, as well as improvisation.
• Communication between dancer and musician.
• Preparation for competitions and performances.

Notes:

1. All participants will be given notes. Those of you who have attended the previous workshops, don't forget to bring your notes with you.
2. A Masterclass certificate will be given to those who attend both days. For those who attend only one day, they will receive a Certificate of Participation.
3. We remind our members who attend Oriental courses with the aim of obtaining a Dance Teacher Certification from the International Dance Council (CID) that participation is mandatory and that the workshop hours count double!
4. The printed materials of the previous Masterclasses are available for purchase to those who wish to have a more comprehensive knowledge.
